Hi, Ms. Etten:

Based on the experiences of other laundry shop owners who have full time jobs, how do they normally handle pick up and delivery? I noticed from the threads that there are a number of these type of laundry shop owners who only have one (1) full time staff on their payroll.

Thanks in advance,

You’re most welcome, Ms. Etten.

Thank you as well for your replies to each of my queries. You displayed both warmth and a sense of urgency in each one of them. *smiley*

Aside from being a newbie to this site, I am also an ‘old newbie’ to business. I just recently resigned from my job of seven years in customer service and human resources at a multinational corporation. Last time I handled a business was way back in college; fireworks naman.

(Sabi ko nga pala sa friend ko na may-ari ng isang naluging laundry shop nung dini-discourage niya ‘ko from putting up one, “We all offer exactly the same service — maglaba (!). The difference would be in the quality of service and in our people giving our customers a delightful experience.” Motto namin ‘yan sa company na pinanggalingan ko. Deadma nga sa discouragement… hahaha!)

More power,
