Hi everyone,
for those who PM’d me,
i will just post here the specs of the machines i use for the sake of those who are also interested in putting up a laundry shop.
I started with a pair of Maytag Washer and Dryer, 10kg capacity. (topload)
I also purchased a Samsung Single tub automatic washer, 6kg capacity for back up,
and for little items.
Eventually I invested in a reconditioned frontloader, 30 pound capacity, which I think
was a good investment, because it is not too heavy in water consumption ,and the maintenance is very low.
I used to buy things/chemical sprays for stain removal, but later on i discovered that
stains are not really that difficult to handle. there are just some “processes”you have to
learn.
Regarding pricing, I got my prices through some laundry shops also when i was just starting.
Now, I price my laundry at 30/kilo.
Some dry cleaning prices, I got tips from Denzon, when she visited my shoppe.
If you can price your dry cleaning at a higher price, why not? Wink

Hi!
I just wanted to share my very bad experience when I purchased my 2nd units of Whirpool washing machine and Dryer.
For the washing machine:
- they have delivered the machine wih deffective motor, they asked me to just changed the motor and I insist to change the machine.
For the Gas Dryer:
- when it was about to be installed the technician that they send was I think is just a novice and he even damage my transformer. Luckily my husband was there otherwise we will be forced to get another set of transformer without knowing that it was the Technician’s fault b/c he insisted that our transformer was already deffective. Then 2nd Technician was able to install but there was smoke coming out from the pipe then upon sending the 3rd Technician, he learned that there were spare parts from the machine that was not able to changed (from Electric to gas) meaning they delivered a not “quality checked” machine! I was very fissed off and called their office. What they did was to offer me an extended 6 months warranty of my unit rather than changing the unit since parts that needs to be changed was made and which I think was already a good deal!
Actually these were just among my bad experience there were still more that really affect our operations!
Anyway, I just wanted to share this in order for those who are planning to purchase Whirpool machine to be very careful, with the way the company handle their customers.
thanks!
