Hi to all,
Tagal ko na di nakakabisita dito sa forum. I’ve updated myself with the past postings and I continue to get useful tips/suggestions. The laundry seminar conducted by Etten was very useful. The changes/adjustments I made to my operation and monitoring systems as well as change in staff are paying off. Cash receipts are up, accounts receivables are down and gas consumption is gradually being maximized thanks to more hang-drying. Pero I’m still taking losses due to pre-operating expenses from my soooooooooon to open na pick-up station. Di ko pa rin ma-open kasi I have yet to work on getting the permits and the DTI registration due to a busy full time job workload. Target ko third week to end of July ang opening.
On the query regarding “smelly” clothes, we encountered a similar problem. They washed it twice but charged the regular rate. They did mention to the customer that they had to wash the clothes twice (para makonsensiya) and advised him na huwag patagalin yung dirty clothes niya before having them laundered para di bumaho. I told my staff to be more upfront with the customers.
On the query regarding price increase, the laundry owner can possibly mitigate the potential negative impact of the price increase by offering a discount if the customer brings in more clothes for laundering.
Bye for now.
