Ma’m etten, thru cold canvass nyo rin po ba nakuha ang service contract nyo sa Max’s Restaurant? Paano n’yo po na-negotiate? Paano po yung pricing? Sino po ung entry contact nyo dun? Branch Manager po ba o yung Head Office? Kayo po ba ang nag-present ng terms and condition ng service contract or sila and nag-dictate? Mayroon po ba kayong sample? Smiley Atsaka naalala ko lang na you mentioned you decided to drop the contract because of hassle, can you pls. share your story on this?

1.) Re Max’s restaurant, cold canvass po ito. tumawag ako sa isang branch nila and the person i talked to referred me to the manager. the manager asked me to sample a laundry in some of their linen, at pumasa naman. they availed of our laundry services, and not long after ni refer na nila ako sa ibang branch nila.
The branch manager does the decision, hindi na nakakarating sa head office nila. Sa collection na lang ng checks ako nakapunta sa head office.
2.) Re pricing, syempre I dictated the price, with allowance for discount.
pumayag sila sa price ko, so nagkasundo kami. Ako rin ang nag present ng Terms and Conditions sa Contract. Payments are made after 30 days, i make a bill, and they issue check.
3.) Terms and Conditions are already attached once you present your proposal.
4.) I once covered all the branches of Max’s Restaurant in QC and some in Madaluyong. During Xmas Season, hindi na nakakatulog ang mga staff ko, kasi sa bilis ng consumption nila ng linen, kailangan maibalik ang linen within 4 hours, hehehe, imagine? so ang mga staff ko, walang enjoy during those times. Lahat mainit ang ulo, lahat masungit, and ayaw ko ng ganun. pati family ko, can’t go on a long vacation during those times, kasi managers had direct access to me, so pag may complaint sa akin tumatawag. Grin
5.) I decided to drop the contract when they asked me to lower the price coz some laundry have offered them very cheap contract..i stood firm with my price, kasi kawawa naman ang mga staff ko, ibig sabihin, hindi ko na naman sila ma increase-an, and sila lang naman ang kasama ko sa biz. and besides, during that time, lahat tumataas tapos ako magbaba? I informed them, bigay na lang nila sa iba. I learned later on, umiiyak na ang laundry na pumalit sa akin, at puro complaints ang feedback. some of the branches asked me to stay, pero i declined..
6.) At present, i just cater to walk ins, mas relaxed ang feeling, walang pressure, walang hinahabol na deadline, and lahat cash basis. Wink
nakita mo naman ang laundry shoppe ko, hindi kagandahan pero maraming laman.
nasuklian na ko ng maraming kabutihan, ganun talaga…kung ano itinapon mo, babalik sa yo.. Wink
