hi guys,
we have a foreigner customer and he’s got such smelly clothes. Stinky to the highest level. It even has a human f___ in it. My staff is so grossed out, she vomited. The smell spread all over the place. this is his 2nd time to bring that kind of laundry. what shall i do? I want to turn it down next time, how’s that?

Hi laundrygal,
Turn it down next time. Because if your other customers would know of such customers and that you entertain such items, they might get turned off. Just imagine, your clothes being done in a machine that had human f___ in it? I think you should have your machine disinfected with a special disinfectant..

Thanks ms etten. But how do I say to the customer I can’t accept his laundries because it stinks?! How to do it in such a way that he will not get offended? My staff doesn’t see the items because the laundries gets straight to the weighing scale as he said he’s already sorted it out.

I see the root now when you said your staff doesn’t see the items because its already sorted out. They still have to check each item. i’m sure during the sorting they’ll see where the smell is coming from. And as what blueknight said, you can be upfront to the customer and say you do not accept such items ..or to be discreet, separate the item right away and return it to the customer. I’m sure he wont react to it . Another thing you can do is, if it’s really stinky and there’s those kinds of items, you can tell the customer you charge double for those items. I’m sure he’ll get surprised and wont accept the price, but if not then it’s ok. At least you get to charge double, but still return the item with human f____,

now i know what to do…many thanks, ms. etten.
