Hey guys,
Anyone familiar with this kind of laundry service? (coin operated laundry business)
Please share your thoughts…
Thanks.

i think coin op laundry is feasible only in countries with high cost of labor. But sa atin, di siguro advisable lalo na’t ang customer ay gusto ng personal service. That’s my assumption only. Pag nag mechanize kc mga company that’s mainly due to high cost of labor.
Hope I’m correct, but you can browse the net for research.
God bless us all!

used to have my laundry done in a coin operated shop. that was 10 years ago, sarado na po ang shop ngayon. i remember, ako ang nag lagay ng damit ko sa machine, ako rin ang nag lagay ng sabon, at iniwan ko na ang damit. the token, you have to buy it from the counter, 30 per token, good for one load. one token for washer and one token for dryer. total of 60 pesos, ang dami ko na nalabhan, yun nga lang…ako pa rin ang nag laba. and i had to stay at the establishment for the whole time na umiikot ang mga damit ko.
in my POV, hindi sya feasible sa atin, kasi who wants to waste their time waiting for their clothes sa laundry shop? not me, i’d rather have it done “full service” and i’ll reserve my time for something else na kikita ako, at the same time naka provide pa ko ng need for the shop owner para mag hire sya ng staff, at naka pagbigay ng trabaho sa kapwa nating kababayan..

On top of the P60, akin din ang laundry bag / plastic bag?!? Lugi! *thumbs down*
Plus, paano kung nasira pa ‘yung coin slot, ayaw gumana ng machine… hassle ha!
Gusto ko drop off, walk away and have fun, then come back to pick up my fresh, sweet smelling laundry. Plus, may warm, friendly attendant pa na mag-aasikaso sa ‘kin. Malaking plus kung yung owner pa mismo, ‘di ba? *beam*
