Hi Miss Etten,
I;m glad I found this forum. I plan to purchase an existing laundry biz in San Juan. The owners are migrating for Australia and they are selling it for 350k. Is this worth the risk? There are existing customers. 45 coffee shops, some restos and salons. Please give me advice as to how I can really make sure that the business is thriving and that I won’t make a mistake purchasing this laundry biz.
Also, on top of that initial investment, how much will be the operating expenses?

hi maileen!
welcome! you can purchase the laundry shop, but better if you check their financial records first to make sure that they are really doing good. that way, you’ll have a bargaining power if you want to negotiate the price or buy it as is. if they have an existing clients, check the feed back of the clients..i don’t know what the coffee shops have for their laundry items, so its also good to check..
i’m sure they have records of the past transactions for their existing clients, so its better also to check that out.
operating expense initially are the rental, staff salary, etc. you can ask them how much they pay their staff and how much is the rental..
good luck and keep on visiting the thread.
Have a nice day!
etten
