Hi, Ms. Etten. On this note, what is your recommended price per piece for spa items (e.g. bath-face-hand towels, bath robes, bed sheets, shorts)?
Hi Grich,
If you can pull it off at 40 per kilo, base the price per piece at Php40, then it would be a good deal.
Running price for corporate though is Php20 per kilo depending on the volume regardless whether it’s a heavy or light material.

hello po mam monette… ask lan po ako.. may nagpalaba po ng mga 40 bath towels sa akin which i priced at 15/piece (wherein they delivered the goods at 930 am and picked up at 3pm agad!), resort po sila at since their regular laundry service only delivers once a week and nauubusan daw sila ng mga towels… is it ok if i charge them per kilo for the towels or is it better for a per piece pricing? kaya lang wala na akong time na i air dry pa kasi nga rush…d po ba ako lugi non? thanks po mam…
Assuming weight of bath towel is 1 kilo based on your information that the institution is resort, I would say php15 is very low, especially if they like the items delivered same day. Even corporate had to give you enough lead time to process, otherwise quality would suffer. If they would agree, price per kilo at Php25 is just fair.

Hi Ms. Etten,
I dont know whether I am spending too much or I am missing some points on how to earn through commercial clients.
My estimate spending per kilo is about P22, and I cost now at P25 for the usual clothes (P50-55 for heavier items).
I got a few commercial clients but they ditched me and my P50/kilo for their towels when they found laundry services that can go down to P25/kilo. I am confused with the math I guess. How can they afford to go this low? If I consider P20/kilo, with larger load, doesnt this also mean I will be spending more on supplies and utilities for them too?How do they manage with the price?
