October 24th, 2009 @11:50 pmhi po. thanks for your response to my query. im beginning to be a regular “poster” to this site. I really find your forum very helpful. Here’s my question…I know that there should be an additional charge for a very dirty laundry, how do you tell the customer about it? i mean they think po kasi that we can do “magic” with there clothes. They assume that we can totally eliminate a stain when sometimes it’s permanent stain na. What if you we’rent able to eliminate this permanent stain?
Every time we accept clothes for laundry, we accept them with utmost care and in good faith that they have turned them to us. For heavily soiled items, it really depends how soiled, though most of the time its mud. These can be treated easily by soaking for several hours..patience is the key. No need to rush. Tell the customer it would take several days to laundry their clothes given its condition. As to the charging, you can charge them premium same as jeans and curtains and the customer with good explanation will probably accept. However for stain removal, it is always safe and a standard procedure to inform the customer that removal is never a guarantee. We can only try our best effort but outcome will always vary. What we can totally assure the customer is - we clean their clothes like we clean our own.
Have a nice day!
