“hi Ms. Etten, since I’m very open on my accounts, you may want to consider this:
Depreciation expense-6000.00
soap,softener, freshener,clorox-6000
misc supplies-1500
phone-660
electricity-10,000
(aircon po ako pag sobrang mainit ang panahon, drier ko din ay electric pa, sooner pa ako maglpg)
I also want to emphasize in my shop na I’m marketing a high end but then low end din ang presyo Ph25.00….most of my customers are walk in talaga, pag nakita nila shop ko na maayos and ok ang laba it’s a word of mouth marketing din…
Your though is highly appreciated…
thanks.” - channel
Hi channel,
This figures are high if you are to ask me..though depending on how you derived the depreciation value, it would still be based on your start up machineries..
I would like to share to you that I started with only a pair of washer and dryer and considering it’s value and quite honestly its service it provided me, I only charged 1000 a month for my depreciation value. I also didn’t start with an electric dryer and I don’t have an aircon in my laundry shop.
for my soap, softener, clorox - I only consume worth Php2000 +/- since I make my own fabric freshener and fabric conditioner.
electricity - Php3000 +/- I hang dry kasi.
As for your marketing, ok na ang Php25.00 but don’t go lower than that. Highend market is even ok. You are just starting out, very young business. I’m sure you’ll be able to pull this through.
Good luck!

Hi again ms. monette,
thanks for taking time to answer all my queries. However,i still have one more question which i forgot to ask .Why are some of barongs that we iron tend to get crumpled again after a while, say a day after, especially the pina-jusi type and the jusi type as well, but not the pina type.i’m using a non-stick flat iron, by the way ,to avoid damage.so,what we do is to iron it again pag kinukuha na ng owner.so we let them wait. is this good? what is the solution to this?thanks again and more power.
