Me-ann,
I will post my replies to your queries at the end of every question. FYI.

we’re so blessed and thankful that you have a website that can address our problems in managing our laundry shop.I would like to ask the following questions:
1. how do you clean a carpet? how long does it take to dry it? is there any special chemical for it?how much should i charge? I don’t do carpet cleaning. It is so tedious and time consuming not to mention the large space it requires to be cleaned. I think we should leave that item to the carpet cleaners. I believe that is covered by car washers.
2. you said earlier in my previous queries that to remove the stench of smelly clothes, i should soak them in hot water with soap. however, you said that we should not use hot water for colored clothes as it will fade. pano kung yung mga smelly clothes ay colored? how can we handle them?Well I guess you can either do one thing whichever benefits better. Explain to the customer and make them choose, a foul smelling clothes or faded one? However, you can also use a color safe disinfectant, look it up at the grocery stores. Oxybleach i think is the brand. Check it out.
3. the jusi type of barong usually gets wrinkled once they get cold. nagugusot ulit sila. I am using the steam iron as you advised me before. pero ganun pa rin, nagugusot pa rin uli sila. nahihiya ako sa mga customers ko kasi i iron them when they pick them up na lang. naghihintay tuloy sila.I don’t see why that happens in your shop because that’s what my staff do and they don’t get to do the ironing twice. Maybe what you can do is buy Faultless Starch Spray to avoid the wrinkling.
4. lastly, we are accepting less than 3 kgs, but i want to eliminate it na.. however, i’m afraid mawala iba kong customers kasi marami silang less than 3 kgs na nagpapalaundry sa amin. If you see a disaster coming, would you still push through with the decision? Of course not. However, fear is a ghost we should always conquer. Think things over then decide. If it results to disaster, you can always undo and bring back the old minimum requirement. What’s important is you learn from your mistake and accept it.
thanks and i hope you can find the time and patience to answer me.me-anne de leon
Good luck and HAVE A NICE DAY!

Thanks for answering my questions. With regards to jusi type of barong, i use the faultless starch but it still come out the same. Nagugusot pa rin afterwards even if we increase the temperature. I hope you can still accomodate my query and thanks again.
