Hi Me-ann,
Thank you for visiting my site. As for your queries, here’s the reply.
- Where can i buy the liberty tags and how much?Kasi we also lost some of our customer’s clothes despite counting them- liberty tags are sold at World Basic Corporation, their number is 912-2656. Others use the yarn to put a marker, or some list down the color, name or brand of the item.
- what are the causes of smelly clothes? i use your charlie soap by the way.before, we just machine wash them but now we handwash them with bar soap kasi may mga customers kami na sobrang baho ang damit. - smelly clothes are caused by bacteria, maybe due to sweat or sometimes nature of their job. What you can do is soak it in hot water with detrgent to remove the foul smell, that should eliminate your handwashing. Charlie’s soap is good for washing machine and also soaking, only you have to dissolve it in water first.
- how much should i charge for maong jeans/shorts?fatigue uniforms? before i attended your seminar, i charge them 30/kilo but as you said dapat 55/k. now my customers are complaining of the new price. - In my shop, i charge 55/kilo for maong jeans/shorts if its more than the usual number mixed with the regular clothes. Meaning if a customers brings in 5 kilos of clothes and most of the items consist of maong weighing 4 kilos. However, if the maong is only 1 pc ir the most 3 pcs in a 5 kilos of laundry, I charge them the regular which is only Php30/kilo. So maybe you can check also the items, and most of the time customers when explained to them that heavy items are difficult to dry, magastos sa gas..they would understand and pay the right price.
- a customer complained why i charge extra for stain removal. pano ba talaga ang pricing sa stain removal. i just use chlorine. - It depends on the stain you removed. If its the stain on the collar, usually this is free of charge because the customers thinks its easy to remove. Also the bottom part of the pants(laylayan), that also is free of charge. But rust, which cannot be removed by chlorine should be charged. So it really depends on how you gauge it..would you like to make money out of removing simple stain or you can tell your customers that you remove stain in their clothes as an added service, free of charge.
- how long should the drying time be? - When setting the dryer without hang drying, what we do in our shop is set it at 30 mins then check the clothes if its already dry, and if not set it again to another 15 mins. This avoids over drying of clothes, also prolonged use of dryer.
- lastly, is it okay to offer clothes drying promo this rainy season? how much? - Yes, what we charge is half of the price of wash-dry-fold. Example if I charge 30 per kilo, charge for drying only is 15 per kilo.
“Hi ms.monette,

Hi, Ms. Etten. You recommended in this thread that rust stain removal should be a chargeable service. In this case, how should this be charged? Per spot? Per laundry item? How about blood stain removal, make-up, and grease/oil?
