“I second the motion….yung iba kasi komo may mga laundry shops na gagaya na with out surveying the area. ako nga pang apat na ako sa area ko i just gamble kasi nga magkakalayo naman kami then pick up station lang yung isa.
one more to consider is king ilang kilo per day dapat ang malabhan to cover the expenses. now, can we share also some of our expenses here makita ng iba to realize how hard laundry is, yung iba they seems to hide and just shout out that they are earning this huge amount, maybe yung iba totoo naman talaga.
can i start the survey?this will also help the others…1. ilan ang staff ng laundry shop mo?
a)1 have 2 staff then ako, bale 3 kami
2. magkano ba ang rent mo?
a)6500 lang commercil na yun
3. magkano ang payroll expense for 1 month?
a)including my salary 16500 lang
4. magkano ang overhead expense mo?
a)dahil baguhan pa lang ako nasa Ph 25k pa lang….
baka naman ang iba pd magshare….” - channel
Hi channel,
Actually what you pointed out is true and so is carlos. If you read the thread especially the old thread, you would be encouraged to put up a laundry business considering the idea that it is a lucrative business. I’m not sure if many of you have read my post before saying that laundry business wont make you rich unless you have several shops and each is earning a huge profit or also if you start with an industrial set up where you would need a million capital.
As for your survey:
1. ilan ang staff ng laundry shop mo?
a)When I started my laundry shop, I only have myself as staff then hired after the market started pouring in.
2. magkano ba ang rent mo?
a)my main branch is 7500
3. magkano ang payroll expense for 1 month?
a)When I was starting, I charged 8k for my salary as staff. At present, 11500 a month for 2 staff.
4. magkano ang overhead expense mo?
a)in my 8th year operation, 25000+/-
Taking into consideration how you started your shop..parang madami kang pwedeng bawasin to minimize your expense..I would suggest you take a second look at your notes…My POV.
Have a nice day!

hi Ms. Etten, since I’m very open on my accounts, you may want to consider this:
Depreciation expense-6000.00
soap,softener, freshener,clorox-6000
misc supplies-1500
phone-660
electricity-10,000
(aircon po ako pag sobrang mainit ang panahon, drier ko din ay electric pa, sooner pa ako maglpg)
I also want to emphasize in my shop na I’m marketing a high end but then low end din ang presyo Ph25.00….most of my customers are walk in talaga, pag nakita nila shop ko na maayos and ok ang laba it’s a word of mouth marketing din…
Your though is highly appreciated…
thanks.
