Today is a protest day.
Oh not so. It is a public knowledge that Mr. Laundry holds seminar every month. For those who know me personally, I don’t hold grudge. I’m a “forgive-and-forget ” person. But just this once, I would like to GRUMBLE. Let me share to you while I’m typing the word “grumble” it almost already made me laugh. Perhaps that’s not really me.
Anyway the reason for this grumbling is this: I found out yesterday that one of my attendees succeeded in pirating my staff. Funny thing is the staff he pirated wasn’t good enough. Still it was a traitor move. This attendee got the cellphone number of my staff during seminar session. While the shop is under construction, they let the staff stay with me. When their shop is ready to operate, they hired my staff offering higher salary. My staff then asked to be released with the reason that there’s an emergency in the province. I let the staff go, not knowing that I am now being tricked. Their shop is now open and I discovered that not only one of my staff is there, but two of them. What a shame. These people worked for me just 1 month, learned the ropes and thought they already knew everything. Their BOSS didn’t have the decency to tell me about it, so i presume that this is really his business style. Business style that does not practice ETHICS. After I have taught them everything, this is what I get. I wouldn’t hesitate calling this attendee a back stabbing traitor.
Should I pursue the act? Go after the BOSS? Well, at first I tried. Since I knew their shop’s name, I tried to google it. Voila, they have a Face book page, the nerve! There was a number which I called and unfortunately the “traitor’ is not there. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise because if I’d talked to him, I’d probably lose my temper and went down his level. Now that I have looked at the situation in proper perspective, I’ve thought…I’ll just wish him luck, hopefully he’d be able to sustain the business and let the situation take its course..Besides, as the saying goes…
“What goes around comes around”
Have a nice day everyone!
