There are three laundry shops in my town. Also, there’s one in SM Bicutan. 25 per kilo. By next month, I guess, I’ll start bringing my clothes to the laundry shop..
What should I remember when bringing my clothes in laundry establishments? Do I need to write items per piece? like 2 pieces of white shirts, 2 pieces jeans, 1 pc towel? What about expensive items? Do I just entrust those items to them? - miong
Although i don’t find it necessary, but my staff take time in recording one by one each piece of laundry (self-initiative). There are times that a one customer has more than one load so to avoid being lost or misplaced they have a logbook where each item, e.i. color and/or brand, is listed. It’s up to you to require them to write your personal items, besides you are considered a “valued customer”. We also experienced customers who gave us a ready list of items with a space where our staff receives the items-like a counter list. Just try each of the 3 laundry shops, have them laundry your most soiled clothes or white colored clothes then you choose which one satisfies your washing needs.
And just to give more caution to the shop, tell them “please take care of my clothes coz i love those” instead of of saying “please take care of my expensive clothes” as the latter sounds bragging. With these, even if they actually attend to your items, they will double their efforts. You may also opt to require them hand wash or dry clean.- perpax
Really depends on the shop you’re going to, but best would be ask them to take note of your items, especially of the EXPENSIVE ones, because you’ll never know. At our shop, if we notice items that are delicate and expensive, we give extra attention..still depending on the customer. Though we give same attention to all customers, if we encounter customer that ask for special attention, we give them that, with a premium price, of course.
