Hello. I’m happy that i was able to find this site. It’s very helpful. I will be opening a laundry business this coming month. I already bought 1 pair of american home washer and drier, both commercial type. I haven’t attended laundry seminar yet. My shop will start its construction on the first week of february. I just want to know if i need to buy pressurized tank and motor. I will be using water from the deep well. I will open my shop in the province. I have read from one of the blogs from other internet site that if the water is not pressurized the washing time will be longer..Is it true? What is the ideal size of a laundry shop? I want to have a hang dry area. Hope you can help me with this? Can i join this group?thanks.-Jessie
Hi! Makes me wonder why you bought a pair of machine already, while the construction haven’t started yet? If your water is coming from deep well, I assume you are using water pump. I would suggest since you’re putting up the business in the province, I assume you have a big space for your overhead tank. I’d prefer this to eliminate the need of a pressurized tank and motor. And yes, you need enough pressure of at least 40 psi to hasten filling of water into the machine thus shortening the washing time. Btw, if you are using deepwell water, let me inform you that this causes yellowing of clothes. You will need a filter to eliminate this, Ideal size of a laundry shop would be 30-45 sq.m. Yes, you can join this group, you only need to pay Php2000.00 for lifetime membership fee.
