February 8th, 2010 @11:08 amHi, bago ako dito, I’ve put up my laundry November last year, last December I’m averaging 100kilos a day, this mid January there was a sudden decrease of sales, luckily kung maka 30 kilos a day kami. Most of my clients are residing sa condo so mostly for pick up sila. Tinatanong ko naman staff ko wala naman daw naging problema or hindi lang nila sinasabi sa akin, is it appropriate na tawagan ko former clients ko kung ano ang naging problem? Thanks & more power.
Hi Tom,
Your opening last November was a good timing because it nears December which is a peak season for laundry businesses. Everyone’s got lots of money meaning they can afford to have their clothes brought to laundry. Congratulations! Having 100kilos a day is a difficult feat to follow. However for your sales to drastically fall, something really wrong. Your staff may not be telling but I’m sure may mali sa naging system either ng staff or sa operation mismo. My advice is check on your inventories. Detergent usage, plastics, receivables, water consumption..and lastly, you are right, call your former customers.Ask them what went wrong, bakit hindi na sila nagpapalaba? That would able you to discover what could be the problem..And if ever there was mistake done by your staff, let your staff know that you learned about it and pag sabihan dapat sila, ayusin ang trabaho nila or else, marami pang nag hahanap ng trabaho para palitan sila..
Good luck!
Have a nice day!
