August 13th, 2009 @10:25 pmhi there..hope you can help me again with my problem.i’m currently using industrial machines.i started last july 22 and offered a promo of 25/kg.our customers liked the quality of our wash.they are now our loyal customers.how do i increase our price to 28/kg?i feel that 25 is ok for household type of machines but not for industrial ones, its too low.
Hi Ach,
For machines as big as industrial, your price of Php25 per kilo is already justifiable. That is if you maximize the machine’s capacity to its load. How do you do that if the capacity of industrial is 25 kilos, and your customers load is only 10 kilos? The only solution then is through mixing. That way, you wont be needing to increase your price. However, to increase your price from Php25 to Php28 is possible if you just opened your shop by making it appear that the Php25 price is only an introductory offer and you advice your customers that it will only run for a certain period of time. You also need to post advisory note in your shop about your increase in price so that they would have their adjustments as well. If your service is worth the price, certainly your customers will stay loyal with the price difference of Php3.00 per kilo. By the way, price is not based on the type of machine, whether industrial or household. In fact, shoppes using industrial are supposed to be the ones offering lower price compared to those using household or commercial types of machines.
I hope I was able to help.
Good luck and have a nice day!
