hi miss etten,
im sure you dont remember me anymore. im rita ignacio, i was able to attend a seminar of yours at your laundry shop in cubao. i never really got to open my laundry shop as planned cause i didnt have enough funds and then parang na set aside ko na din ung dream kong un.. but kanina a friend asked if anyone would be interested to shoulder the laundry of a hotel. parang now that i guess i am more able, with already a little bit of savings under my belt, parang i wanna submit a proposal, and i was just wondering if you do consultancy services, help me open my shop?don’t get me wrong, im not cutting corners lang, it’s just that im kapos sa time. kelangan asap… eh i am only starting to read your thread now, which by the way is very helpful, but i dont have enough time. im also employed. please let me know asap? i’ll really appreciate your help… this thread and the hand out i was able to get from your seminar are now my reference… but the technicality of it all, like the pricing and the day to day processes, i won’t be able to explain without your help. and now also,i already have my mom to help me out. so kahit while im in the office, i have a trusted person in the shop which makes it more feasible for me now… please let me know what you think, thank you.
thank you, rita
Hi Rita,
I only do consultancy to members of the Laundry Business Owners Club. With only 2k lifetime membership fee, you get mentoring, discounts and endless consultancy. Training is also provided at a very minimal cost. Honestly, you cannot cut corners. You may get advices every now and then but still experience is the key.
To give you an idea of how to operate a business to cater hotel laundry, I will enumerate the following:
- Depending on the volume of a hotel, you have to have big washer and big dryer based on how many rooms they have.
- What is the required lead time for you to turn over dirty linen.
- How much you are to charge them per piece or per kilo.
- Service vehicle is also a requirement
- Personnel
Other than this, there’s also so small details you need to know. The module you got from the seminar is a big help, you just have to read it, and also this blog. Internet is a good source too.
I hope you get the contract.
Good luck!
