Presenting the Bike Washing Machines! Seen in the picture is the famous entrepreneur Illac Diaz, who is an advocate of ingenious ideas, if I may say. He is the inventor,actually. (My apologies to Mr. Illac Diaz for not knowing he is the inventor.) The invention is geared toward helping the poor by elimination of the use of electricity in using washing machine, thereby lowering the electric bill.
Incidentally,this invention is a simplified version of the “belly washer”. Those used by big laundromat companies that cater to corporate accounts such as hotels, restaurants and spas. However, this Bike Washing Machines would help best the local “labanderas” or walking laundromats, that pick up laundries of their customers. I’m confident this washer cleans at par with hand washing. I’m glad they were able to come up with the idea. Simple and yet clever.
I wonder when are they going to come up with the extractor equivalent?
